MEET THE AUTHOR

JENNIFER FROST

BSc (hons), VPAC, RVN, A1, PGNCert (An Beh), Cert. Canine Hydrotherapy, Advanced Dip. Hydrotherapy (Adv UWTM)

VETERINARY HYDROTHERAPIST AND CLINIC OWNER

Jennie started her career with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Administration from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2007 and has worked extensively with cats, dogs and horses throughout her career.

Since graduating she has continued further education gaining post graduate qualifications in Companion Animal Behaviour, Canine Hydrotherapy (certificate and Advanced Diploma) and more recently studying for the Internationally recognised CCRP with VAHL and University of Tennessee.

In 2011 she spent a year travelling and working in Australia with her husband and was fortunate enough to spend most of that time living near and working in the fabulous veterinary clinics of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Despite returning to the UK, buying a practice and starting a family, there was no doubt about where her heart was and in 2017 she emigrated permanently to Australia with her husband and young son.

Since her early days riding and competing horses, she has had a passion for understanding biomechanics and movement, particularly in dogs and horses. Combining that with her years of experience and study in canine and equine behaviour and training, this has enabled her to develop unique skills and effective techniques for her work in veterinary hydrotherapy and rehabilitation.

Jennie now owns and runs a highly successful hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre in Faulconbridge, NSW. She leads a small team of skilled canine hydrotherapists and maintains a full, loyal client base, reflecting the centre’s strong reputation and consistent results. The business has earned Jennie multiple local business awards, and with continued demand for her services are expanding with a second UWTM and additional equipment throughout 2026.
